The Parents & Citizens Association at Fig Tree Pocket State School is a vital and active part of the school community. All parents are welcome to be a member of the P&C. It is a wonderful way to get to know the school community and a way to make a contribution to the school. P&C membership can be completed by submitting a membership form prior to the P&C AGM in February each year, or at any general P&C meeting through the year.
An important role of the P&C is to actively raise funds for the school. Each year, the P&C contributes a significant sum directly to the school budget. This allows all the extras for our children within the curriculum and as has been commented on in the past as ‘making the difference between a good school and a great school’. The balance of the P&C funds is spent on many projects big and small within the school.

Tuckshop

Tuckshop is open for lunch Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Tuckshop orders are preferred online via Flexischools and prices on Flexischools are cheaper than over the counter.
Uniform Shop

Uniform Shop order are available online via Flexischools (add link) OR during opening hours Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2.15pm-3.00pm. For Flexischools online orders, you have a choice to have the order delivered to your child in their classroom or you can pick up at the uniform shop during opening hours.

Tennis Court Hire
Opening Hours:
7am-9:30pm
The P&C hires out tennis courts for community use. The courts have been recently resurfaced and have lights for evening games. Cost is $12.00 per hour during the day (to 6pm) or $16.00 per hour after 6pm. Lights are on a timer and go off at 9:30pm.
Meetings
P&C meetings are held regularly on Tuesdays and everyone is welcome. Meetings start at 7.00pm and usually finish before 9.00pm. The P&C is your voice within the school and the meetings are informal enough that everyone can contribute.
